Short Courses
A full round is one way to play the Track. It is far from the only one. We are building a property that flexes between serious golf, short-game fun, and a place to just hang out, depending on the day and the player.
Par 3 and pitch and putt courses are taking off all over the golf world, and for good reason. They are quick, they are friendly, and you can build them anywhere with a little creativity. We are putting several of them across the Track, so a first-timer and a lifer can both have a great afternoon here on the same day.
The Mosquito
When we flip the nines, the old first hole becomes the tenth, and the whole thing becomes the Mosquito. A complete short course built on a single old golf hole.
A par 3 where a par 5 used to be
We move the old first tee up and turn a long par 5 into a friendly par 3.

The old tee box becomes a big green to roll on while you wait, free and open.
Nine holes on one old hole
The fairway and rough become the course. A few holes stay open all day, and once the day's last tee time has played through the first hole, the rest open up to fill out the full nine for the evening.

The short courses cluster around the new ninth-to-tenth transition. The path is a quiet ride through the forest, and the tenth tee is where it all comes alive.
The 19th Hole
Built on the old chipping green behind the closing hole, facing the clubhouse. A very short, very fun par 3 where bets get settled with a beer and a gallery watching. It also doubles as a flex hole, stepping in as hole 10 or hole 18 whenever the Mosquito takes over the tenth green.
In the Pines
Concept, pending approvalA secret micro par 3 threaded through the woods between the holes, alongside the path from nine to ten. Tiny tees and greens that never touch the fingerprint of the forest. Golf among the tall pines and palmettos, unlike anywhere else in Florida.
The Ride
The cart ride from the ninth hole to the tenth, a quiet path behind the range and through the forest, built to look like a rail line with the ground laid out like train track. An air line is railroad talk for a dead-straight route, the same name as the Seaboard Air Line that ran through Depot Park, and with the airport down the road there are planes overhead too. It carries you out of the woods and into the vibe at the tenth tee.
The Hangout
The heart of the pitch and putt. A halfway house and snack stop left of the tenth green, where you can grab something, watch the short course, and watch players tee off. The social epicenter of the back nine.
And the big one
Every hole on the main course gets its own par-3 tee and its own pin, so the same eighteen holes welcome a first swing and a scratch round on the same afternoon. That one lives with the course itself.
