Giving back is not a side program here. It is the heart of the bid. We want golf to find the next kid in Gainesville, and we want them to learn it the right way.
Home of Gator Junior Golf
A home from day one
Gainesville does not have a First Tee or a Junior PGA program. What it has is the Gator Junior Golf Association, basically a First Tee of its own.
Gator Junior Golf has called Ironwood home before, so this is a homecoming. We would make the Track its home the day we get the keys, and build the program up from there.
We want to give away as much free golf and free instruction as we can, funded in part by range balls and cart fees. The whole idea is simple. Make it easy to play, and make it not an expense for the family.
