Ironwood is Gainesville's only municipal golf course, and we're not about to take it away. Every phase below happens while the course stays open for daily play. We renovate in stages so the community never loses its tee times.

A staged plan that builds momentum without ever closing the gates.

Phase One

The Practice Facility

We start where momentum is easiest to feel. The existing range gets a full upgrade, and we reimagine the old first hole into a state-of-the-art short-game destination. Technology you'll love, wrapped in a place you'll want to stay.

The Trackman bays

Launch monitors, a refreshed covered structure, and netting to keep balls in play. The quick first win.

Indoor simulator bays

Two weatherproof bays to play any course in the world, year-round.

The Dunk

A beautifully designed putting course, lit after dark.

The Mosquito

A nine-hole pitch and putt on a single old golf hole. A few holes stay open all day, and the full nine opens in the evening once the day's last group clears the first hole.

The Matchas

Our matcha & espresso coffee truck rolls in.

Phase Two

The Clubhouse & Payne's Pinthouse

Payne's Pinthouse opens first in the existing space with a fresh menu and a new vibe: TVs, beers on tap, burgers, wings, and grab-and-go breakfast burritos. Then we renovate the clubhouse itself with new lounge and sitting areas, TVs, and an enhanced pro shop. The goal: a place you actually want to hang out.

The Community & The Details

The pieces that make the Track feel like ours. Some, like Gator Junior Golf, start the day we get the keys. Others fill in as the course takes shape.

Home of Gator Junior Golf

The local junior golf association comes home to the Track, from day one.

The etiquette program

Teaching the care the game is built on, with badges to earn.

The Settlement

A 19th hole on the old chipping green, where bets get settled.

The Passport

A stamp for every round. A keepsake you build over the years.

Course Improvements

Throughout every phase, we're breathing fresh life into the course itself: brand-new sand in every bunker, a few new bunkers, improved tee boxes, better greens, and new accessible restrooms out on the course. We flip the nines to open up the short game, and add turf par-3 tees so the whole course plays as a par 3 too, all while keeping the surrounding agriculture, forest, and prairie preserved.
